Hej! (Hello in Danish)
My name is Annie and I am studying abroad in the Spring of 2017 with the DIS Program in Copenhagen, Denmark. I am currently a junior at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana (Go Hoosiers) and I am studying Nonprofit Management with minors in Fundraising and History. I am born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and I'm an avid Cleveland sports fan. I love my hometown but I am excited to get out of my comfort zone through studying abroad! My core course at DIS is called Competing Narratives: Modern European History. As a history minor I am very excited to learn about modern european history in a different country! I will also be taking two trips to different cities in Europe with my DIS core course. The other courses I'm taking at DIS while abroad are Holocaust and Genocide, Leadership Across Cultures, Strategic Planning for Leaders and Activism: Engagement and Resistance. This blog will be filled with my stories and adventures during my four month study abroad journey! If you have any questions please feel free to contact me on any of the social media platforms below or via email! Enjoy! |
